Sanibel Island, Florida offers incomparable golfing to anywhere else in the world and it hosts several championship golf courses with public access.
There are also more than a dozen executive or par three golf courses within this barrier island off the southwest coast of Florida. And while playing golf on a Sanibel golf course, expect tol encounter breathtaking scenery.
However, before considering golf at Sanibel, there are some golf tips you should take into consideration, so you enjoy your Sanibel Island golfing experience.

Remember to have plenty of water, not only before your game of golf, but also during the game. Sanibel has high humidity, so you'lll need to keep yourself well hydrated.

Before playing golf, use the driving range in order to warm up your swing. This can help you get the kinks out of your swing. And don't forget to practice your chipping and putting, focusing on getting your ball a few feet from the hole.

If you want to discover everything nature has to offer, take a pair of binoculars, as most Sanibel golf courses share time with all sorts of wildlife. You can see a number of varieties of birds, particularly large birds such as the graceful snowy egret and sandhill crane.

Bay News 9's Jason Lanning reports from Key West the storm wasn't as bad as first thought. Tropical Storm Fay only brought an inch and a half of rain and wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph. There was one report of a wind gust of 51 mph.
